If you had told me a year ago that I would be launching my own wine brand, I might have laughed and poured another glass. But life has a way of surprising us, often when we least expect it. Broken Glass is not just a brand; it’s a dream brought to life, inspired by a love for wine, a leap of faith, and the belief that optimism and resilience can turn setbacks into something beautiful.

The Story Behind Broken Glass

The name Broken Glass is a nod to the idea of seeing the glass as half full, even when life doesn’t go as planned. After being laid off from my corporate job, I found myself at a crossroads. Instead of seeing it as the end of a chapter, I chose to view it as an opportunity to chase a dream that had always been in the back of my mind—starting my own wine business.

My journey began with hands-on learning as a winemaking intern, where I got to experience the art and science behind every bottle. From sorting fruit to endless punchdowns and the glorious smells of fermentation, I discovered the magic of turning grapes into something that brings people together. Broken Glass is the culmination of that journey, and I’m so excited to share it with you.

Introducing “Everybody Wins”: Our 2023 Carneros Pinot Noir

Our debut wine, “Everybody Wins,” is a 2023 Los Carneros Pinot Noir that embodies the spirit of Broken Glass. Sourced from the renowned Los Carneros AVA, this Pinot Noir is crafted to be approachable, vibrant, and full of character—just like the brand itself. It's delightful and is truly is a wine for everyone to enjoy!

Expect notes of bright cherry, red currant, and a hint of earthiness that makes this wine a versatile companion for any occasion. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone or unwinding after a long day, “Everybody Wins” is here to remind you that joy is meant to be shared.
